Shopify never used to provide a cost price for a product sold. This App was the result. It quickly became a reliable way to generate reports on the cost of goods sold (COGS). It also allows the merchant complete control over past, present, and future values of the cost price of any SKU. With this App, doing accounting reports not possible in Shopify becomes available to the merchant. Most reports are available as easy-to-use CSV files for compatibility with all accounting packages. Generate inventory reports with the current value of your cost of goods. Generate sales reports with the total value of the cost of goods sold. This is a great app that does what it says on the tin - and it provides a feature that Shopify sorely lacks. However, be aware that it does not take into account discounts, gift cards, shopify payments fees, or anything else; it simply provides sale minus cost of goods.
