I really love TaxJar, the setup will take some time however once enrolled in Auto-filing you will be amazed. Auto-filing with 19 states. Is not cheap however is less expensive that having an accounting team doing the filing for you. Thank you TaxJar.

Quit messing with sales tax, this app is the leader for managing sales tax. You can do Auto File if you want to, which didn't work for me for some reason... and my only qualms is that I can't download my sales tax report (without upgrading) to send to my accountant (I gave her my login info), but other than that, it's great!

TaxJar is an amazing way to automate the sales tax process. My business had previously worked with a bookkeeper to manage our sales tax processes and we are blown away at how much easier this technology is for us. It's cost efficient, simple, and overall a great customer experience.

It does the job well. I'd like to see a report showing sales tax collection revenue by day and I'm not using TaxJar for filing, but overall it works well and Customer Service has been excellent. TaxJar's customer service is light years ahead of Avalara's.

Best tax software out there! Not sure I could manage sales/use tax without Taxjar - have many states setup to autofile which saves a TON of time. Also, Taxjar provides a great knowledge base which is very useful for researching tax issues. Highly recommended!

TaxJar is a life saver for online sellers. It links into Amazon (and Shopify and PayPal for eBay) to identify all sales and returns to each specific state, right down to the city for each sale! AND it even back dates the data for you for Tax Nexus purposes. I have no idea how long this would have taken me without TaxJar. Also, their support is fantastic.

TaxJar is fantastic! Support is AMAZING! They helped us analyze almost 1 million orders across 3 stores (2 Magento and 1 Shopify). Easy to use and we highly recommend for stores of any size. They also have great tax articles on their blog if you're wanting to learn more about taxes.

TaxJar is working on an integration with NetSuite; which we hope is up soon. They work great for Shopify compared to all the problems we had with Avalara and if you management taxes in multiple states they make the filing a breeze to auto-file.

Extremely disappointing support. Long response times, missed meetings, and our point of contact stopped responding altogether. We couldn't rely on them for our business and decided to move elsewhere.

Do not use this app. Is the worst customer service experience when you need anything from them. In addition to that, if you mark your customer in your store as exempt, Tax Jar won't take this and will file ignoring this. This cause that you'll have to file an amendment with each State and eventually you'll loose money. Don't use this app. it doesn't do the job as expected. Do not use it.

The app is unusable for any Shopify merchant who has a base currency that is not USD... It assumes USD in the connection to Shopify, which makes the filing completely wrong (they could just read in the USD values from the order, but they didn't think to do such a simple thing).
